Greetings from Zambia! Not sure what that is in the native language, not even sure what the native language is...i think there are like 9. anywho...i keep speaking swahili wherever I go so I guess I will just say habari ganii? (What's new?) Vic Falls are awesome, what an amazing sight to see! we are heading back tonight to see it by full moon light, because its a full moon you can still see a rainbow, how sick is that!! So today me and this Scottish guy that we met here went and bungi jumped off of the bridge between Zambia and Zimbabwe, it was so awesome!! Not only that but we also did this huge freefall rope swing and this zip line as well. It was such a thrill, definitely got some awesome pictures to show you. On top of that we got to hop over to Zimbabwe, which means we have been in four African countries in four days! (and only on one shower!, haha). I was able to pick up some Zim dollars as a nice souvenir too, its several million Zim dollars to the US$, so I got 100 trillion + in Zim dollars, no big deal. Anywho, Zambia is sweet, but its very similar to Kenya, which is nice, I was kinda missing it, and since Joburg was so expensive its nice to be back in a place that is cheaper.
So to back up a little while, we spent Monday in Nairobi hanging out with some of the staff and saying goodbye to some of the students and then got up to head to the airport at like 3 am to go to Johannesburg. It was hard leaving, but i think that I was ready. Before we left I was able to meet up with my friend Ariel (guy) who worked at the front desk in the Y. I have been wanting to meet up with him for a couple weeks now and it has never worked out. So we were finally able to meet up on monday afternoon and talked for several hours. I wanted to share Christ with him and for a while he really didn't seem like he cared, but we got talking and apparently a really close aunt of his, who was a believer, passed away, and God really used that to open him up and he ended up accepted Christ right before we had to leave to go meet up with the staff guy we were going to spend the night with. It was a pretty ridiculous divine appointment.
Tuesday was spent in Johannesburg, which was a really nice city, a least compared to Nairobi, there were paved roads and highways, and overpasses, and a lot less pollution. We stayed in a pretty nice hostel for the night, but didnt do much since we were heading on to Zambia early in the morning. Flying to Zambia was really sweet, some how our tickets were first class tickets, so it was a nice change of pace, real nice. Tonight we are going to head back to the falls to see it by the full moon light, apparently at full moon you can still see a rainbow.
Probably won't be able to write till Cape Town, but will keep you all updated
Chris
